Happy pets. Happy clients.

“We LOVE The Grooming Room! Our dog Woodford has been going to Doggy Daycare for one day a week for about a year and a half now and has boarded several times while we were away. Hannah, Wayne and their group are caring and conscientious. They take such great care of their dogs and love them like their own! We can’t even day “doggy daycare” in our house unless we are ready to go! Woodford is so excited to go every single time! I highly recommend The Grooming Room.”

“Wonderful, is the first word that I think of to express how I feel about The Grooming Room! The care and love they extend to my dog, Jack, is immeasurable. He has been coming since he was a puppy for over a year now. He loves to come for daycare and boarding. We came on a recommendation from a friend, and I have not regretted it one minute. Thank you to the entire staff!”

Diane S.

“I can’t say enough about this place! Our little Oliver has been attending the Grooming Room for several years. It is his home away from home.  They stayed in constant contact with us, and we saw videos of him almost every day.  The Grooming Room is a great team of caring and loving people who obviously love what they do.”

James and Carla C.

“These folks are awesome. They really care about the pets they take care of when boarding, grooming or hanging out at doggy daycare. Great experience and my pup loves them too!”

FAQs

Your pets’ health and safety is our top priority. We’ve integrated extra disinfection and sanitation routines into our already rigorous cleaning protocols.

Rest assured, we are actively monitoring for any dogs displaying symptoms as they enter our facilities, as well as those staying with us.

Key symptoms to monitor include lethargy, runny eyes and nose, coughing and sneezing, or loss of appetite. Should any of these symptoms manifest, kindly keep your dog at home, contact your veterinarian, and notify us so that we can continue ensuring the well-being of your pup as well as all the other dogs under our care.

Yes! We love visitors. Tours can be scheduled through the receptionist at 843-797-7568 and are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11-2.

Call us at (843) 797 7568, or feel free to stop by the hotel for a visit.

We just need a little paperwork — don’t worry, it doesn’t take long. You can pick them up at The Grooming Room Pet Hotel front desk. We ask that you provide current vaccination records and completed forms prior to your dog’s stay.

While we do accept daycare drop-ins, we strongly encourage you to call ahead. If your dog will be joining us regularly for daycare, we recommend making a standing reservation on your typical play dates. This way, your pooch will always have a spot at Daycare.

We ask that you give 24 hours for daycare cancellations.  If you miss two appointments without notice, your future daycare reservations may be cancelled. A daycare package is required for all standing reservations.

We require a veterinarian certificate indicating proof of vaccination for Rabies, DLPP, and Bordetella. We recommend the Bordetella vaccination be administered every 6 months or yearly, within the year is required. If the Bordetella vaccine has never been given, or if it has expired, a 72-hour waiting period is required after the administration.

For all other vaccinations, a 24-hour waiting period is required after the first administration of a vaccination or if it has expired.

All guests must be treated with an effective form of flea control.

All guests must be 4 months or older.

Guests who attend daycare will require a brief temperament evaluation — think of it as a simple “meet and greet.” This ensures the safety of all our guests. Temperament evaluations must be scheduled in advance, just give us a call to let us know you’re coming in. We want to ensure that we have adequate time to get to know your pooch.

Our 72 Hour policy ensures that guests with little or no immunity have not been exposed accidentally and infected with an illness while visiting their veterinarian to get vaccinated. While it may seem a little strict, we prefer to err the side on caution when it comes to the safety of our guests.

Of course, and we encourage it. As many dogs are sensitive to sudden dietary changes, we find that it’s best to provide their regular food. By request, we can prepare specialized meals, including cooking or thawing if required. In particular cases, a $5 daily fee may apply.

If you forget your dog’s food, we use Purina One as our house food, which is charged at $2 per meal.

No problem. We can administer medication. Just make sure medication is in the original prescription bottle, clearly labeled and the dosage instructions are included.

As a full-service dog hotel, we provide the comforts of home including premium dog bedding and bowls. That said, you’re welcome to bring your pet’s favorite blanket, toy, or any item with a familiar scent—just clearly mark their items. Please limit it to two items. The Grooming Room cannot guarantee their condition upon check-out.

We have multiple room types with different amenities, there are rooms that can be private, including cozy bedding and bowls for their prepared meals. As for play, all rooms include daycare play with the group. Best of all, there is no shortage of love and cuddles.

While we do not have staff at the facility overnight, our hotel does have security cameras and smoke detection systems.

If your dog is less than social, requires one-on-one attention, or senior, they are welcome to stay in our Suites for added privacy. They will receive special one-on-one care from our staff with multiple outings throughout the day to stretch their legs.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any pups in heat

For best availability, it is recommended reservations be made well in advance.
